Kiri, The Cow, is my friend

This is the first sculpture in a series of more to come,

that aims to emphasis the fact,

that Kiri the cow has a lot of friends,

and although Kiri is the one in the spotlight,

friends are the quiet architecture of every story,

the steady presence behind the shimmer and shine.

 

They are the chorus to her solo,

the roots beneath her hooves,

the unseen hands that lift, steady, and surround.

For even a cow crowned in bronze and light

stands tallest not alone

but together.
